For want of something to do during the early weeks of the first Covid lockdown in 2020, I hit upon the idea of producing a book containing the averages and records of the club up until the merger with Crusaders in 2012. Rather than just a book full of statistics it also includes some aborted projects from the 1990s, A history of Hatfield Cricket Club (1850-1978) written by former Hon. Secretary John Gray and a look back at Hatfield's promotion winning campaign of 1997.
